Equipment, Material, and Labor Donations

 NON-CASH DONATIONS TO THE TUN AND PEG MULENS BEEF STEAK CLUB

 Tun Legacy Foundation (TTLF), a non-profit 501(c)3, is very interested in seeking and receiving donations to help build and furnish the facility.  The Tun is the birthplace of numerous active military and social organizations.

The project is a three story, 22,000 SF, 180-seat historic tavern/restaurant including outdoor dining.  All donations are important!  Please contact the Tun Militia to discuss the specific item/element you are excited to donate to the project. The following list begins to offer the project requirements.

• Building materials and/or union labor
• Kitchen equipment, table and bar ware, racks and shelves, etc.
• General Condition items such as street cleaning, first aid, drinkable water, porta-potty, etc.
• “Third party” expertise such as construction inspection, delegated design, etc.
• Furniture and historic accessories
• Historic artifacts, Art Museum Curator, historic food expertise

To participate, the following steps are required:

1. Contact TTLF or the Construction Manager; or complete and submit the below Donor Application Form prior to January 1, 2025.
2. Budgeting and bidding of the project design documents will occur between July 2024 and January 2025 by the Project Construction Manager, Wolf Scott Associates. During this period, Wolf Scott or a TTLF representative will contact your firm to participate in the competitive bidding and donation process.
3. Following receipt of competitive bids, your firm will adjust your bid equivalent to the donation amount to obtain the recorded tax exemption that will be administered by the TTLF Fundraising Committee.
4. All contractual requirements including but not limited to submission of Shop Drawings, Warranties, As-Built Documents, reports, etc. whether as a direct subcontractor or a material/service supplier to a successful subcontractor are required to participate.

If your donation is unique or proprietary, adjustments to the above process are acceptable.  Upon request, the Fundraising Committee or Wolf Scott Associates will forward current project drawings and specifications.

Project Milestone Dates:

• 7/12/24 – 50% Contract Documentation and Long Lead Equipment Bids
• 11/1/24 – 100% Contract Documentation and Final Bidding
• 1/1/25 – Construction Trade Donor Opportunities Close
• 1Q 2025 – Construction Commences
• 1Q 2026 – Building Occupancy
