Who can join the 1775 Club?

What is The Tun® 1775 Club?
The Tun® 1775 Club is a membership club for individuals interested in helping to rebuild an important part of American history. The intent of this fundraising initiative is to create an inexpensive way for large numbers of supporters to make a meaningful contribution toward the construction of The Tun®. Special premium items unique to the 1775 Club include a t-shirt, certificate and coin.

Why is it called the 1775 Club?
The “1775” honors the November 10, 1775 birthdate of the United States Marine Corps.

How does The Tun® 1775 Club work?
The Tun® 1775 Club requires that a donor agrees to a one-time payment of $213 or an automatic and recurring monthly charge of $17.75 to a valid credit card or debit for a period of 12 consecutive months, totaling $213 over the year.
There is an option to cover your credit card transaction fees.
When selecting monthly payments, ensure you select 12 payments.

What does my donation include?”
After the first monthly donation, the 1775 Club Member will receive a T-Shirt (available sizes small, medium, large, XL 2XL, 3XL).
Following the third allotment, the 1775 Club Member will receive a customized Certificate and Certificate holder with your name.
Following the 12th allotment, the 1775 Club Member will receive a membership coin. Each coin is serialized and exclusive to the owner.
If the 1775 Club member pays the full amount, $213, all items will be sent in one package.
Shipping costs for the merchandise are included with your membership.

Can I purchase a membership for a family member or friend?
Yes, we encourage you to involve your family, friends, anyone who is interested in reestablishing an important part of American history.

Can I pay the $213 donation over three months? Six months?
For ease in implementing the membership program, there are two payment timelines available – the monthly charge of $17.75 and a one-time charge of $213.

If I pay the $213 all at once, when do my member gifts ship?
All gifts will be shipped at one time. This typically takes 7-10 days.

What happens if I want to change my credit card or it expires?
Send an email to samuel.nicholas@thetun.org to explain the situation. You will receive an email to correct your credit card information.

What happens if I lose my 1775 Club Member Coin?
The Foundation is unable to replace lost coins as they are unique and exclusive to each Club Member. To receive a new coin or t-shirt, you will need to rejoin the 1775 Club.

Who do I contact if I have questions?
